Ever wanted to make a witchy little broom of your very own? We grew broomcorn to make small hand brooms or small decorative brooms!

Broomcorn is a type of sorghum, but it differs from other varietals that make edible seeds. It grows 8 feet tall and looks quite similar to corn, until the long tendrils of seeds come popping out the top and turn a variety of colors. I grew red and black seed this year, though unfortunately its just the seed color and not the color of the bristles.
Bring some charms, beads, ribbons feathers, dried flowers, or other decorative elements to make a wall hanging, or keep it simple and functional. The broom corn provided is yellow in color, but you can order color dyed bundles to add some color or make a larger broom.
We will be doing a group order on the wrapping twine, so let me know what colors you would want to go in on: Broom Making Twine – $10 a spool
See you there!
